This section will explore how my beliefs have been influenced by tradition, scripture, and culture. These three items happen to correlate precisely to the first item on the TruthUnity menu for Faith:[1] Christianity (tradition), Bible (scripture), and Metaphysics (culture). So I am grateful for the opportunity to not only communicate my beliefs but also to be able to demonstrate them in my ministry.

These three elements — tradition, scripture, and culture — shape how I see the world; therefore, they are a foundational component of my belief system. But they do not necessarily shape how I see myself, at least myself internally. In other words, they do not necessarily shape my internal experience of my world. That will be addressed in the next section, Revelation, Reason, and Experience.
