Hi Friends —
Here is what was on my heart last Friday when we gathered for the Unity and Christianity 2017 mini-conference at Unity of Independence. Many people are discouraged today, thinking that Evangelicals and the religious right have taken ownership of "the great educational movement inaugurated by Jesus Christ."
That is not so, for the reasons I lay out in this talk. I believe addressing Unity's relationship with Christianity is the most important thing spiritual leaders in Unity must do today. I hope the conference provides hope and encouragement to "proclaim and promote metaphysical Christianity as an authentic and distinct expression of the historic Christian faith."
