Attending in person and attending online
The 2017 Unity and Christianity Conference will be held at Unity of Independence on Friday, March 24 from 9am to 8pm.
You can attend the event in person or watch the entire day over the Internet. You are encouraged to attend in person if you can. Attending in person brings energy to the conference and allows you to participate with the speakers and others who are attending. Know that 100% of the fees for Internet online access are divided up between the hosting church and the speakers. Your support reimburses the speakers for their travel costs and their time.

Getting There
Unity of Independence is located in the northeast area of Kansas City, Missouri. It is a very convenient place to gather for a number of reasons.
Driving to Unity of Independence from the Kansas City Airport is an easy 30-minute drive along I-435 to I-70, which means you can get there without going though Kansas City traffic. Car rentals from the airport for the weekend of our gathering are much lower than average, starting at $19/day and a Hotwire search shows the cost for 2-day rental to be $69.00.
Unity of Independence is situated near the "Independence - Sports Complex" area of Kansas City. You will find there many affordable hotels, especially those near Noland Road. The drive to Unity of Independence is typically under 5 minutes from most of the hotels.
I recommend going to Hotwire.com and look for hotels in the "Independence - Sports Complex" area of Kansas City. Those are very close to the church and they are the best buys in town. I always book at Hotwire when I'm in KC. One thing ... do the booking for the room about 4-5 days before the event. Once you've booked, then you can't get a refund. The hotels get more desperate as the day approaches and the prices are actually lowest at the last minute. Same thing with cars.

For those who wish to visit or to stay at Unity Village, the drive is another easy 20-minute excursion, along I-70. And like the commute from the airport, there is no need to cross downtown traffic.
