Metaphysical meaning of Azor (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Azor (mbd)
Azor, a'-zôr (Gk.)--helper.

Son of Eliakim, and father of Sadoc, in the genealogy of Jesus (Matt. 1:13).

Meta. The God-inspired idea that man's true and all-efficient helper in all things pertaining to his life and well-being is Spirit. When man looks without for assistance, he looks away from the true Source of all his strength, understanding, life, love, substance, and good, which Source is within him. The Christ will never he born in us until we learn to turn within to the Holy Spirit for light, guidance, and overcoming power.
