A city of Judah in the south (Josh. 5:25).
Meta. The character of the Hazor consciousness under the old thought, changed to a more spiritual, truer level (new village, new habitation, repaired inclosure, renewed court). "The old things are passed away; behold, they are become new" (II Cor. 5:17).
